Danish Forest & Nature School Course: Step 3
(Outdoor Pedagogue Step 3 Certificate)

The Outdoor Pedagogue Step 3 Course is a 3-day immersive experience with theoretical components, hands on activities and group work.
The course builds upon the knowledge, skills and experiences that the group acquired during the Outdoor Pedagogue Step 1 & 2 courses and that each individual obtained through their outdoor practice, in order to further empower participants to be leaders in the field of nature-based education.

Sunday 5/7 10:00-15:00 Steni Village and local forest
Language of Instruction: Greek
Fee: 430 euros/ participant
Inclusions:
- Accommodation for two nights in single or double rooms
- Saturday and Sunday breakfast
- Coffee and snacks all days
- Friday lunch, Saturday packed lunch, Saturday dinner
- Course materials.
Extra costs: transportation (car pooling will be encouraged), dinner on Friday
Candidate Limit: 15 participants per cohort to ensure pedagogical quality.

- Spreading the nature and forest school approach

- Hands-on activities and outdoor experiences
This course intended only for participants who have previously attended Step 1 and Step 2.
This training is designed for:
- Early Years, Primary, and Lower Secondary teachers
- Pedagogical coordinators and school leaders
- Educators working in IB, British, American, and bilingual schools
- Pedagogues working with children in schools, NGOs, and other organisations
- Parents
The course is suitable for those who are looking for practical pedagogical tools, not just inspiration.
This training is currently under accreditation process by the CPD
Standards Office.

Markos Zangas-Tsakiris is Greek-Australian. He holds an MA in Environment from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and a Diploma in Education for Sustainable Development from the University of the Aegean (Greece).
Since 2004, he has worked in environmental education with various NGOs and as a kayak instructor, leading children on outdoor learning adventures. He currently runs the Forest and Nature School program at Paichnidagogeio Elementary School in Athens, Greece.
From 2018 to 2021, he participated in the Erasmus+ project “Exploring the Curriculum Through Nature Programs.” He is also a guest speaker at the University of Geneva, where he teaches the course “Forest School and Outdoor Nature Programs.”
Markos joined Inside Out Nature in 2014 and has since facilitated more than 30 training courses worldwide.
